Dyson miniaturizes its iconic Air Multiplier fan into handheld cooler
Dyson has created a handheld version of its Air Multiplier fan called the HushJet Mini Cool, featuring a brushless motor and bladeless design similar to its larger air treatment products. The device is designed to be held and operated by hand for personal cooling.
Nearly 17 years after Dyson introduced its Air Multiplier fans as one of its first major consumer products following vacuums, the company has miniaturized the design to create a handheld personal cooler called the HushJet Mini Cool. Like Dyson's larger Air Multipliers, humidifiers, air purifiers, and heaters, the HushJet Mini Cool features a bladeless design with no visible spinning blades that could injure fingers or get caught in clothing or jewelry. All moving parts are safely concealed within the device.
The HushJet Mini Cool is powered by a brushless 65,000rpm DC motor that produces air streams at various speeds. The handheld design mirrors Dyson's approach with its hair dryers, making it portable and suitable for personal use. The device represents Dyson's expansion of its Air Multiplier technology into a more compact, portable form factor.
